Everyone in this world have some thirst for knowledge The ideal way is to discover answers manually and need some specific medium to fulfill your quest. That’s where search comes in existence. The most popular way up till date is to search is through internet and find answers. That’s why today search engines rule the World Wide Web and caused remarkable gain to our knowledge. The sad part is we come across only few like Google, msn, dogpile, ask, Yahoo and Wikipedia. These are the search engines we mostly trust and recommend.

Hittery is the custom search engine that adds the elite list of all search engines within itself. It comprises of a dashboard having different boxes defined with categories starting from Internet and tech to travel guide. You can also use drag and drop to sort through the search engines and change their position. The best part is you don’t have to search through any menu to remove one you don’t like. Simply place your cursor on the X sign and delete the search engine.

As a new user there was uncertainty in my mind regarding the performance of the search engine. What’s so unique that can force me use Hittery. Will it be able to display the results of my liking? Let’s try this! I opt and search for White House. Yeah it’s absolutely right on target. I got search from Washingtonpost, Foxnews and Cnn with the content regarding White House.

You’ll get the searched results on the left hand side where as on the right there’s a sidebar with other options. This is how the sidebar is used: -

1. First set a time frame for search results. Its up to the you either use last 24 hours or even forever

2. Search the query by selecting the search engine of your choice from Google, YouTube, Flickr, , Live, Google news or even Hittery itself.

3. Attach the custom search engine to iGoogle, Netvibes or Google Toolbar.
