Google in 38 different Languages October 24, 2008

Google LogoGoogle aims to reach the top of mountain by increasing its userbase, has once again made the Google site available in 37 more languages other than English. With the total number of languages reaching 38, people from different regions and backgrounds are now able to build and host their own websites on Google sites.

With the current release, users are now able to access Google Sites service and interface in each of these languages. This would give the website creators and collaborators an opportunity to interact with the site in a better way using their respective languages.

The browser settings automatically detect the language and display the site in that language if it is among supported languages. Following is the list of those 38 languages:

  • Catalan
  • Chinese (Simplified)
  • Chinese (Traditional)
  • Croatian
  • Czech
  • Danish
  • Dutch
  • English
  • English (UK)
  • Filipino
  • Finnish
  • French
  • German
  • Greek
  • Hindi

  • Indonesian
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Latvian

  • Norwegian
  • Polish
